“It’s a great weekend destination”

Legendary RTE broadcaster Joe Duffy, recently presented his radio show to some 400,000 listeners from the Clarion Hotel Limerick and had the following things to say about Limerick during his visit.
“I was up very early this morning and I went up to the refurbished Limerick City Gallery of Art which I have always been a big fan of. It’s fantastic – the Hunt Museum is brilliant as well - and the little restaurant, Zest, was great,” he said.
During his trip Joe also visited the Frank McCourt Museum and recalled how the “very generous” Limerick author gave him the first exclusive interview after Angela’s Ashes won the Pulitzer Prize.
The broadcaster, who has become a household name as a result of his down-to-earth presenting style, remarked that Limerick city had a “real buzz about it” during his visit.
“Cities are cities and they have a rich tapestry to say the least – I think Limerick is fantastic. I love the streets up where the People’s Park is. I think between the Hunt Museum and the gallery, the university and Thomond Park it’s a great weekend destination,” he said.

training course run so smoothly

I would like to thank you and your colleagues at the Clarion for making our training course run so smoothly last week.  The course trainer, the facilitator and all the delegates were very pleased with our choice of venue.  They found the staff very friendly and professional, the food excellent, the facilities and the location of the hotel excellent.  There was absolutely no negative feedback at all, not that I would have expected any.
On a personal note I want to thank you both for...

“Thank you” to the chef

“Thank you” to the chef and kitchen staff for todays lunch. A big thank you also to Anne in the bar, as always Anne was most helpful and friendly. We order food on a regular basis but today lunch was most enjoyable. Thanks again for all your hard work and effort to keeping us all fed and found.

Excellent Hotel

Just back from a short stay at The Clarion Hotel in Limerick, and I would highly recommend it. We had dinner in The Kudos Bar and the food was amazing, and the service very efficient. The staff were really friendly and pleasant, and also very helpful, especially Danny the night porter, who made time to have a chat with us, and told us of some interesting places to visit in the area. Its location is within walking distance of the city centre...
